Adrianne And Rob – Yes On Colorado Amendment 64

Two Smart Puppets Want To Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol

Mason Tvert, Co-Director, Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol

The Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol has been working tirelessly for two years to end marijuana prohibition in Colorado by passing Amendment 64. We truly appreciate the seriousness of our mission.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t smile at the same time — especially when we can inspire some activism along the way.

With that thought in mind, we wanted to share this short online ad created by a supporter of Amendment 64. It features a couple of sock puppets discussing the merits of the initiative and concludes, not surprisingly, with them encouraging viewers to “Vote Yes on Amendment 64!” At the end of the video, there are some helpful suggestions about how viewers can help Amendment 64 win.

Thanks for taking a minute to watch this fun video. Now, back to work!

P.S. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to sign up to make calls from home to Colorado voters either this weekend or next. This race is extremely close, and those calls might make all the difference on Election Day. Thanks again.

  1. I’m so confused I’m very pro marijuana, even though I’m not able to consume it due to allergies. When I read the amendment it sounds like there is a way the state or government may have a loop hole at some point to to turn it around against supporters. Every time I start digging I end up with something that sounds the same. Seems like if yes it leaves doors cracked if they want they can turn it over and put it in whole to a stop. Help me make sure I make the right vote.

  2. I object to section: IV Criminal actors. Doctor verification, State to determine where and if there should be a Pharmacy. I also object to 10 clergy holding hands with government. Read the entire amendment it is not what it appears to be.
