Supporters Organize ‘Donate $4.20 To Bernie Sanders On 4/20’

bernie sanders marijuana 420When it comes to marijuana policy, Bernie Sanders is the clear favorite out of all of the candidates trying to become the next President of the United States. Whereas the other candidates respect states rights at best (depending on if you believe them), Bernie Sanders has introduced legislation to completely end federal marijuana prohibition altogether. Below is a fantastic event idea in my opinion, via Facebook. Participate if you are able:

Donations must be made directly to the Sanders campaign: https://secure.berniesanders.com/page/contribute/contribute

“It is not acceptable that many young people have criminal records for smoking marijuana, while the CEOs of banks whose illegal behavior helped destroy our economy do not.” -Bernie Sanders

Bernie has called for the federal decriminalization of marijuana and an end to the failed war on drugs, which has for many years disproportionately targeted minorities and low-income communities. No other presidential candidate has done the same.

So, we urge all cannabis reformers, activists, patients, enthusiasts entrepreneurs, advocates and professionals to donate $4.20 (or $42 or $420) to Bernie Sander’s campaign on April 20th, 2016. Let’s make this YUUUGE and send a message to the establishment that alone we’re harmless bees but together we’re a ferocious swarm that will not be silenced! Please join the event and invite your fellow cannabis supporters, friends and family. Go!

I’ve spent many hours working with Latinos, mostly Mexicanos, and I’m fairly certain the correct word is “Excellente!” Otherwise, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders just spoke in Albany, NY today, near my home to the north. I hope he inspires you more there in Syracuse. But the party leaders for both Republicans and Democrats are already lining up to decide this one—and Mr. Sanders is not very likely to be the Democrats’ 2016 choice. The Wicked Witch of the South, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, current chair of the national Democratic Party, vehemently opposes the idea of legalizing “marihuana.” Either she gets forced out or we’re in for many more years of this anti-cannabis madness.

All this political bs aside! State sovereignty vs federal rule should be explored which I have not read as solution. What challenges have are Oregon elected/appointed government officials done to resolve the issue of the federal government thumping citizens rights to state mandates? In my opinion non work hours should allow the consumption of any legal substance without fear of economic hardship.

Nothing like getting the best bang for the buck — support the cannabis movement and at the same time, support our next POTUS, who with a few others, is leading this national charge to the finish line for ending cannabis prohibition all together !
These “little dollars” add up, folks, as evidenced by the sizeable (and previously unheard of) grassroots money flowing in to support a candidate. It has NEVER happened like this in our history —- and this phenomenon IS validation of what is happening (finally !) in our Country.
Keep on hammerin’ away, folks ! I’m 61 and this will be the FIRST time I have ever voted. I have waited forty-three (43) YEARS to vote —-
See you in SYRACUSE, New York tomorrow on Tuesday 4 / 12 / 16 !
This IS a revolution —- one WITH BALLOTS — NOT BULLETS !
